Ayurveda - The way to health life

Essential question: How can Ayurveda be used to cure common as well as endemic diseases ?

Curriculum standards: Grade VII to X.

Expected outcomes: The students should be able to learn about Ayurveda in general and also acquire specific knowledge about the techniques involved in Ayurvedic treatments.

Required resources: Internet Research, Ayurvedic Journals & Treatment manuals from Medical College Library.

How will this project help the class, school, community or world? Ayurveda is not only a holistic approach of treatment to many diseases but also a way to healthy life. By learning about Ayurveda students can gain awareness about the Ayurvedic methods of treatment. They will learn about the medicinal values of common and rare herbs. They will also learn abut the history of ayurveda. Apart from core learning the student will try to send a message to the world community about the benefits of Ayurveda and how can Ayurveda be imbibed in ones life without risking any thing.
