This Page is About...

This page is about the school of the future! It will talk about what the school day might be like, future consequences, and the material of the future school. What will school be like in the year 2030?

Transportation to Education

In the future, I don’t think that instead of school buses there will be hovercrafts or teleportation, well at least not in 2030, that is. I believe that there will still be cars and buses, but they will probably use “green” materials instead of gas and oil. Students will probably go to school on an eco-friendly bus, but the school bus will go faster than it does now. In the year 2030 I think schools will still use buses and cars as transportation.

What An "Ordinary" School Day Might Be Like

We can’t really say what an ordinary day in the future school would be, but we can hypothesis what it might be like. Here’s my guess: First, pupils would be transported to school, and we start the day off with the Pledge of Allegiance, and do morning work on their personal computers. Next, students would go to the extracurricular activity they had chosen for their schedule. They would have a choice of music, band, art, computers/electronics, gym, and enrichment. After that, the children would go to their next three classes. The classes could be Language Arts, Foreign Language, Math, History, Social Studies, or Science. After their three subjects pupils would go to lunch. In their lunches, there would be all the food groups that are required. Later, there would be two or more subjects, and then finally, the students would be dismissed.

Future Schoolwork

In the future there will be things to learn, just like there is now. I think that schools will use the computer a lot more; textbooks might be on the computer instead of using all the paper to make them as books. Students will probably write and do work on computer programs rather than in practice books as well. I think the curriculum will be more personalized, and students mighty get to choose their classes and have more of a selection at a younger age. As for the actual material, I believe that it will be more realistic, and what I mean by that is that it will probably be more focused on things you will use in daily life or for your future career.

Consequences of the Future School

I think that punishments of the future school won’t be much different than they are today. There might be different electronics to be taken away or having to teleport home. I believe that there would still be a principal and teachers, which you would still have to talk to if you got into trouble. The school of the future will have similar consequences like they do now.
