The Facts about Earth

This earth has stood still for 4 and a half billion years. Of course, there’s a lot going on here. From big explosion, meteor rain, eruption, microscopic plankton covering the entire seas, growing and developing into a complex living thing, born and die, dinosaurs, human, discovery, and many other stuff. Our earth has already old, but it still survives from every torture human made for it.
Back then, prehistoric ages, thousand years before century, before civilization, this earth covered by thick, dense forest, and enormous cover of snow, since, you know, the earth was still in ice age stadium. It was large ferns all over the surface of earth, because low temperature allows only ferns, lichen and some of angiosperm and gymnosperm to grow. Prehistoric human started their lives. From that stage, the earth becomes warmer, and warmer, and warmer in a very loooooong time, approximately 100.000 years, and the last glacial period, ended 10.000 years ago, about 9700 BC.
Then, came the age of invention. Many genius people invent something for us to get easier in our daily life, from mathematical formula, archaebacteria, elements, places, continents, and other new things. This also means the industrial revolution, years later.
Industry… speaking of which, do you know, this industrial revolution started the phenomenon called global warming? Well, industry, involving chemical reaction to cause energy, but also pollutant. It doesn’t mean we blame industrial revolution for global warming. It’s just, human still can’t handle the industrial waste. We can’t blame industrial revolution. Industrial revolution took a big role to our lives. Because of industry, we can travel to other city, or country, or other continent with ease. Industry helped many technological inventions, knowing that creating rocket cannot happen if human didn’t invent industrial technology, thus, there will be no human whose ever step their foot in the moon.

Story - 2

Back to the topic. Those examples up there are also very important for our lives, but industry also causing problems, such as:

Misemployments
You know, back then, around 19th century, the invention of industry causing thousand of people lost their job, because their job had taken by all the machinery equipment. Only if the government would find them a new job or other way to earn money, I think it still okay.

Contamination
After the industrial revolution happened, many large machine producing thick smoke, and causing pH degree of water near the factory increase, which means containing much more acid than the usual was. It disturbed the water ecosystem near the factory. Many fishes floated in the water surface, and you know what, there were many fishes with dangerous chemical compounds in its flesh, such as , and this phenomenon has happened until today, yet remain unchanged. And not only the fishes who suffer, what if human accidentally eat the contaminate fish? It is so terrible, because what do human eat are not just an ordinary chemical compound, but it is dangerous, very dangerous chemical compound. The chemical compound produced by factory is more dangerous than from the cars. Remember, when you always cough every time thick smoke goes through your lungs? Well, this one is waaaay thicker.
