Biopore

Biopore is a hole dug in land with diameter of 10 until 30cms to increase the power of land to absorb the water. This method is found by Kamir R. Brata, an Indonesian. Biopore is very useful to prevent flood in rainy season. It can change organic waste to land fertilizer with the help of worms and other insects. Land with biopore absorbs more water, automatically, the land has more cistern inside.
In Yogyakarta, Indonesia, this method has succeeded by 40%. Imagine if this method is used by all countries, we can conserve more clean water in our own lands.

Making Pipes and Water Filtering

I think the government can build a big pipe, 60 cms in diameter, which connects many cities in a region. It may sound weird or even impossible, but have you ever imagined if the underground lines which are full of trashes and garbages are used for clean water? Or have you ever seen the big pipe for oil in Sumatra? In fact, it connects petroleum factory to the petrol sources which is hundred kilometres in distance.
Next, the government should mark some spots to be the filter spots. The government can build some water filtering there for the whole area.
To avoid the possibility of using the clean water for unimportant usage, the government can put another pipe, bigger, for the unfiltered water which we use for washing, for the plants, and some other uses.

Functioning The Stone Layer

We know that it is so hard to get a safe drinking water for everyone around the world. Some countries are surrounded by tropical climate which can make them fall in drought easily every single year. Some people live in the Sahara and surely, they get a very little amount of water every day. There are also people living in a small country like Singapore, who need other countries, such as Malaysia, to support their drinking water. While they can’t get the water by digging the soil, others who can dig their soil to search for water, can’t even drink the water because of the abrasion of the sea water.

Now the question is how to filter the water?
Have you ever seen the filtering machine which uses stone, sand, and some soil material as the filter?
Considering the improvement in technology and science, I believe that there will be way to filter the water. We can use those stones under the soil as the filter. It will only need a simple touch of science and technology.
By these ideas, I believe that scientists all around the world can gather to discuss about this little idea of ours. It is just a simple idea over-all which still needs lots of improvement and calculation to prevent a disaster. Why?
Because what we are dealing with now is not a simple matter. We’re facing the possibility to change the condition of where we step on, where we live on, where we walk on. Few miscalculations can cause great troubles for everyone in this planet. If we do not care enough, it may happen that there will be too many empty rooms under the land and it can fall down dangerously some day later.

Finally, this simple idea must be going to work out really well if we work together. What we are going to make is access for safe drinking water all over the world, not just a small part of this earth.
