Baseball was created in the year around 1,811. In the year 1,845 baseball developed its first rules in 1,845. Also by the year 1,871 baseball became an official professional sport. It originated in England. It evolved from an old game called Rounders. Rounders was a favorite sport in both England and Ireland. The sport of baseball is popular in many countries such as Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Mexico, and Japan. In the United States baseball is supposed to be considered "America's Pastime". What people can learn from baseball is that it has been around for a long time and that it had great players.
