Joanne Rowling was born 31 of July 1965. She is the best known British author of the Harry Potter fantasy series. It has gained worldwide attention and it sold more than 400 million copies. Rowling was the fist person to become a U.S. dollar billionaire by writing books. She was born to Peter James Rowling and Anne Rowling on July 31,1965 in Yate, Gloucestershire England. When she was four, the family moved to a nearby village, Winterbourne. There, Rowling attended St. Michael's Primary School. As a child she loved writing fantasy stories which often read to her sister. At age nine, she moved to the Gloucestershire village of Tutshill. Over time her great aunt gave Rowling her a old copy of Jessica Mitford's autobiography called Hons and Rebels. Jessica Mitford became Rowlings Heroine. As a result, J.K. Rowling began to write fantasy books.
