Caring School Climate
In total, there are over 30,000 students in Californian schools. Many schools use green energy. Schools also have diversity. California was ranked third in diversity out of fifty one. In fact, about 39% of the people in San Jose are foreign born. Additionally, more than 30% of the population are Asian. Also, unlike other schools that makes you cram all the test formulas and essay formats (distance formula is prt), students in San Jose says that their teachers make it fun, like learning a rhyme or song (i always goes after e except after c), to help them remember. Schools also have a lot of sport activities and extra after-school programs open for them. Schools in San Jose make you happy and eager to go to class because they care about you and encourage you. I know that's all a student needs to pass the grade and feel happy instead of being bored and waiting for the school year to end.

There are many schools and libraries in California. Many libraries have book clubs and special events in which they read to children. Additionally, they usually have very organized floor plans. For example, there is the Martin Luther King Jr. Library in San Jose. This library has a collection of roughly 1.5 million items. Furthermore, they warn employees of when and if they are going to lose their jobs in advance. There are also libraries all around your neighborhood businesses, like schools, for example. In addition, the San Jose Public Library foundation supports all the local libraries in San Jose.
Parks
There are over 120 parks in San Jose. They all usually have features such as specified exercise locations, trails, courts for sports such as tennis and basketball, and aquatics. They also close around sundown, so it is safer for people in the parks. Examples of parks are the Brigadoon, Aborn, Boggini, Roosevelt, and Groesbeck Hill park, all of which have park rangers for safety. Many of these parks are sites of training residents to become adapted to green energy. There are also many amusement parks such as Raging Waters and Happy Hollow for family fun. Many of these parks have helpful features such as old cellphone recycling for orangutan conservation. They also usually have specific landmark plans to create a green future.
Family Friendly Environment
Have you ever been put near a bathroom or somewhere half empty when you eat out because you have young children with you? Have you ever been glared at when your whole chain of cousins join you at the front of the line for a ride? All those events make you feel weird and queasy because you don't like to sit near a restroom or being glared at. Also, it makes you feel like you don't belong here and that you shouldn't be walking down the street. It makes you feel ashamed and that everyone would laugh at you or be mad at you. However, those events barely happen in San Jose. In San Jose there are many fun family places you can go to. You can explore at museums like the Tech Museum or the Children's Discovery Museum. If you just want a thrilling place to go to, you can Winchester Mystery House or Raging Waters. When you want a bite to eat, you can go to Korea BBQ Buffet where you can eat all you want. If you don't feel like a buffet you can go to E&O Trading Company or A Bellagio Italian Restaurant. After the big and filling meal, you can watch a movie at AMC Theaters Eastridge Mall 15 or go to West Wind Capitol 6 Drive In. No matter what, there are fun places to go to as a family and not feel awful.
Fun Children Places
Whenever you are going on a vacation or trip, parents always worry about what the kids can do while they enjoy a massage or a trip to the spa. Well, while you are at San Jose, there is no need to worry. San Jose knows that there are many kids who are stumped at vacations because they have nothing to do. The children have to hang around and then listen to their parent's fun and exciting stories of where they went and they have nothing to tell except for all the TV shows he or she watched. They would be like,"That sounds like fun mom/dad, and you know what, I caught a new episode of 'Spongebob' that I missed. It was kind of boring but that took some time." However, children can have a nice and exciting time at Sharks Ice at San Jose and Alum Rock Park where they can skate or play a game of soccer or baseball. The can also go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium where they can see all types of fish and underwater creatures. When they are tired from the places they went, they can eat at Chuck E Cheese or Old Spaghetti Factory. Children can finally enjoy their vacation due to the many fun children places in San Jose. They can finally share a part of their adventure with their parents instead of listening.
Places to go
San Jose has a wide variety of places to go. But the most visited place is Kelly Park. Kelly Park is popular for its beautiful garden and the playgrounds that kids can play on. In the summer, many families enjoy Paramount's Raging Waters, where families and friends can splash soak in the water. If you are looking for both roller coasters and water slides, visit Paramount's Great America. Paramount's Great America has both roller coasters and water slides. It also has many restaurants and foods to snack on.They have shows and games so the children could watch and play.For more classical shows, there are Broadway shows, classical and contemporary dramas and ballets. These could be watched at the CPA(Center of Performing Arts) or the California theater.There are also family museums. One museum is the The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum with Egyptian tomb exhibits,astronomical and scientific displays. For art museums there is the San Jose Museum of Art displaying American art, quilts and textiles.There is also many different types of libraries. One of the biggest is the Dr.Martin Luther King J.r. which is the largest U.S.public library. San Jose has many more places to offer and these are just the beginning.
Local Foods
In San Jose there are over 100 restaurants in Downtown San Jose, Santana Row or just our local San Jose area. There is a wide variety of foods. They range from Chinese, Italian, European, Japanese, Korean to Mediterranean. All of these restaurants are family friendly. San Jose has many places where you can dine with family and friends. For example, Giorgio's, an Italian food restaurant is a family style cuisine. Also, there is Dave & Buster's where your whole family could play games and eat. There is also a E&O trading Company, for those people who want a twist in there tongues. E&O Company is a Southeast Asian grill that will knock you off your seats. Cafes are also very popular here in San Jose. For example, there is the Red Tractor Cafe with tons of home favorites, breads, tea, coffee etc. For people who are in the vegetarian area, there is also many vegetarian restaurants in San Jose.
