Dear Mr. Chuck Reed,
How are you? How are you feeling? We know that you are really busy since you have many important documents to sign and meetings to attend to. We really appreciate that you are spending your time reading this, but we feel like we have the need to thank you for all your hard work, after all, San Jose wouldn’t have been complete without you. Thank you for making San Jose the way it is.
There are many great schools in this city thanks to hard working teachers, students, principals, and you of course. Schools in San Jose have been receiving great reviews and many schools have scored an eight to a nine. It is a great accomplishment. Many students and parents have been writing down reviews like: “This school is the best!” “My child enjoys going here.” “I feel really safe at this school.” As you can see, many people like schools.
Even the tourists are pleased. There are so many fun and exciting places to go to in San Jose, not only for parents, but for children as well. We know that because we are children as well and there are a lot of places to go to. Some very enjoyable places include:
• Raging Waters
• Winchester Mystery House
• San Jose Golf Course
• Tech Museum
• Happy Hollow Park and Zoo
Since there are outstanding places to go to, there are mouthwatering restaurants as well. Out of the survey many people had claimed that food here is the best and service too! If you want to prove that, please check out some of these great restaurants!
• E&O Trading Company
• Chuck E Cheese
• Old Spaghetti Factory
• Capers
• Fresh Choice
Thank you for reading this letter. We are thankful and grateful that you are spending your time reading and this. Also, we thank you for making San Jose, the way it is now.
Sincerely,
Kaitlin

Personal Observational Story
Once upon a time, there was a small boy named Sam. He was tired of Texas, his hometown, of cacti, EVERYTHING!!! He realized that he needed to move. So, he decided to move to San Jose. His feet trembled on the plane, as he second-guessed his opinion. When he got there though, it was wonderful!! As soon as he stepped off of the plane, a breath of fresh air entered his system. It was beautiful! He saw the blue of the sky, the greens of the trees, and the countless colors of the people. Everybody at the airport was very friendly to him, allowing him to do what ever he wanted, taking care of him. Eventually it became his bedtime, so he went to sleep. The next day, he would be going to his new school. When he arrived at Quimby Oak, The mural was fantastic!!! Wolves guarded the gym as he walked into the front office. “Hi”, he said,“ My name is Samuel Johnson, and I am not quite sure of which class I am supposed to go to.” Expecting a melancholy response, he was surprised to get a handout with all of his classes listed in order of period and a map of the school. “Thank you”, he said. He quickly went to his first period class listed on the map hurriedly. He was nervous, but a warm voice inside of his heart reassured him that he would have a great time in San Jose.
