Exchange the ideas
Share the joy of the success
Today, we went to Ma Fang Elementary School. We shared our knowledge of the ‘Kun Lun’ jade and experiences gained in this event. Besides our team, there were five members from another team. We all delivered the excellent presentations to the third grade classmates there.
We talked about how we succeeded; how we could continue to work on the project. We hoped the three grades can learn from us for teamwork and hard working. A good example is Yue in our team. She delivered an excellent speech and also performed well in the project. We all shared our personal experiences; in addition, one team member did extra work to introduce the trip to the Salt Lake. Shared our happiness with the friends from the Ma Fang Elementary School is the best experience in this project. Let us work together to learn, have fun and practice the teamwork.
Exchange the ideas
It was a beautiful day! Trees with green leaves; a creek with clear water; a high mountain behind the school! The trip to Ma Fang Elementary School was a wonderful visit. Our purpose here was to share our knowledge learnt from the whole past month for the ‘Kun Lun’ jade. When we did our presentation, the audiences were all interested in our topics and enjoyed our speeches. What we learnt from this event is not something you can read from a book, we focused on the ‘Kun Lun’ jade; we visited different places; we learnt a lot regarding mineral resources. The most important learning is that we understood the teamwork: ‘one chopstick can be broken easily; but on bunch of them cannot be broken’.
Exchange the ideas; Share the success
Today, our team went to Ma Fang Elementary School to deliver our presentation on the topic of ‘Kun Lun’ Jade.
The school is surrounded by a creek, big mountain and blue sky. You could smell the coming of the spring when you enter the school: red, yellow and white flowers are blooming, new leaves on the trees. A beautiful campus!
The friends in the school gave us a round of applause at the very beginning of the presentations. I was the first reporter on the stage to deliver the speech. I demonstrated our project results using slides. Audiences were attracted by my presentation and I successfully presented our one month worth efforts on the ‘Kun Lun’ jade.
Immediately after the presentations, we were led for a tour at the campus. Classrooms, playgrounds; I can tell my friends there are really like their school.
This event helped me to know the importance of the exchange ideas; and I further understood that the knowledge is the power. The event also encouraged me to study harder and more open to share ideas with friends.
Visit Ma Fang Elementary School
This was a Friday afternoon, blue sky, birds were chirping, flowers were blooming and everything was so refreshed. It was a beautiful day for us to pay a visit to Ma Fang Elementary School.
The main purpose for us to here was the knowledge transfer on the month long research of ‘Kun Lun’ jade. They are junior compare to us. When we entered their multi media classroom, a round of applause welcomed us.
The presentation started. We walked up to the podium one by one to do presentation. I observed that audiences were really interested in the topic. I could sense their excitement and longing to learn.
My turn to deliver the speech; and I was nervous to step to the podium. I felt that so many eyes on me and my heart jumping like a rabbit jumping. I took a deep breathe then everything flew out. I delivered the speech and answered questions correctly. Finally I was satisfied with my performance.
This event made me brave and I also taught junior in the school the things with ‘Kun Lun’ jade. In addition, I learnt that social activities are important as the studies in the classroom; you can learn more if you balance these two sides.
Happiness is from the sharing
It was a Friday afternoon; the senior friends in our team came to our school to share with us the success of this month long project of ‘Kun Lun’ jade research. I’d learnt a lot from them!
First, their openness and public speech skills impressed me a lot. I was pretty shy and not use to speak in the public occasions. Via this exchange activity, I became brave and will speak out my mind in the public from now on. I remember that I am as good as my senior brothers and sisters.
Secondly, we all concentrated to learn from our seniors in the presentations. You know why? Because we all want to know more about the spirit of the ‘Kun Lun’ jade and know better about our beautiful hometown. We really treasured this great opportunity to learn more.
The third, the presentations were excellent. I was so impressed by one sister: she delivered the speech without any piece of paper prepared.
