Today, Dr. Wu, who works in the science and technology office of Salt Research Institute ,gave a science knowledge Lecture about salt to all the students and teachers of Grade 4 & Grade 5 in multi-purpose halls of our school. First, Dr. Wu introduced the ingredients of salt lake to us. Also introduced that each country was in seeks for the magnesium salt when Second World War, because the magnesium salt is the essential material in the atomic bomb and the hydrogen bomb. I also have known: The magnesium is the national defense metal (Dalisheng Missile), the lithium is the high energy metal, the boron is the high-energy fuel (rocket), we refine the lithium and the magnesium for China's national defense security, we seek for the boron for the aerospace high-energy fuel power. Really “, not listen , not know ,It is actually marvelous!”
The salt is essential for life and the diet life. Many lower animals can instinctivelly drink the lakes or lick soil to complete the salt life needs.
