A Visit to Qinghai Land and Resources Museum

This is a scene that we were watching holographic stereoscopic movies in Qinghai Land and Resources museum. This is the process of producing salt in salt lake Qarhan. We were so earnest in watching the movie.

Visiting Qinghai Land and Resources Museum

Friday afternoon, together with part of fourth and fifth grade students, we went to the Qinghai Land museums. I was very impressed. As a new comer from Inner Mongolia, I do not know how rich the resources are! After introducing an overview model of Qinghai Province, the guide gave us some knowledge on the Qinghai Province: Qaidam alone has abundant natural resources, including salt lakes, petroleum, and so on. Then, we went to the nearby dinosaur fossils, where the guide told us that there was a little dinosaur of only dozens of years old. This surprised us! Then we came to a cottage garden, there are a lot of things we had not seen before, such as gold nuggets, petroleum, salt flowers, crystals and other resources. I saw there was a specimen of white crude oil, which the guide said exists only in Qaidam. Next, we watched a holographic stereoscopic movie, where are so crowded that I could not get through. Consequently, our teacher held me up to see the movie.
I saw on the floor of the model printed a person's image. How fun! Finally, the guide let us enjoyed ourselves, so we could use small-screen machines to find what we favor in it. I soon found a vacant small-screen machine to find dinosaurs that are my favorite. I watched the pictures carefully. After a while, our teacher instructed me, together with the forth and fifth grade students to take notes of the knowledge on salt lakes, and we did it carefully.
I am very happy for visiting the geological museum.

An Experience of Visiting the Land and Resour

This afternoon, we arrived at the Museum of Land and Resources. At the first sight of entering the door, we saw a large screen, on which there is a lot of knowledge on the Qinghai salt lakes, below which there is a geographical model of Qinghai. The guide introduced us the knowledge of Qaidam Basin, and we listened enthusiastically. Then, we followed the guide and came to some dinosaur fossils, where we saw a bone of an adult Psittacosaurus, next to a synthetic bone of dinosaur, under whose tail there are eight dinosaur eggs. I thought: this pair of dinosaur fossils can be said as the great Chinese found. When reading the dinosaur fossils, we can also saw a piece of pure natural nugget formation, which is very precious according to the narrator. Next to the nugget, there is a rhino's head, which is also a fossil. There are many crystallization salt and salt flowers around, some are white, some of the advantages of black, and some of the yellow color. Finally, we arrived in front of holographic three-dimensional films, there we can see salt producing manufactures, and many little men of the same height of real men, and we felt fantastic after observing. When we come out from the Museum of land and resources, we discussed about the issue hotly, feeling what a growth is with the magic of the lake and the relevant knowledge of dinosaurs!
I gained a lot from visiting the Museum of Land and Resources.

Visiting Qinghai Land and Resources Museum

Today, teachers led us to the Museum of Land and Resources of Qinghai Province, which is rich in resources and a good place to visit and learn for us! The guide working in the Museum is very hospitable, and let us read an interesting model, from which I learned about the Qaidam Basin, Qinghai Lake, as well as world-famous Qinghai-Tibet Railway. The guide gave us detailed explanation. We also saw real dinosaur fossils and dinosaur eggs, of a long history, passed down a long time ago, and now kept intact. During the visit, we saw a lot of rock salt, salt flowers and salt crystals there. They have various shapes, as if we entered the picture in the continuous. We have also seen three-dimensional holographic movies, about making salt, and checking some things such as oil; we also saw the workers making salt, as well as some machines showing real-like things.
When we came out from the museum, I know: Qaidam is not only rich in resources, but also beautiful in scenery; I love our home; I love our motherland.

Thoughts on a Tour of Land and Resources Muse

Today, we are led by a few teachers to the Land and Resources Museum.
The narrator gave us a detailed explanation with much hospitality. Let me not only widen the horizons, but also know a lot of knowledge, where I saw a number of dinosaur fossils and dinosaur eggs. They are really fantastic and incredible, which can save up to now through a long history. Among seeing a wide range of salt, the most interesting is that little men in the three-dimensional holographic movie dug the oil from the ground floor; and there are some little cars transporting the oil. It was really fun! The guide talked on and on, and we listened with eager attention.
Here, I know: Qinghai salt lake minerals are the most featured, and the most advantageous minerals, including potassium, magnesium salts, lake salts, Glauber's salt, natural soda, lithium ore, boron, celestite (strontium ore) and gypsum, etc, almost all located in Quaternary salt lakes of Qaidam Basin.
Through this visit, I learned and understood a lot, including the world-famous Qaidam Basin, salt lake unique scenery, colorful lakes, and salt crusts, altogether forming the most spectacular scenery. The visit has greatly moved me which shall be imprinted in my mind forever!
