Do Animals Live in Peace?
The Animal's Life
Many animal species have become near their extinctions. It also happens to Indonesian animals. Many animals can no longer live in peace. There are some factors that threaten their lives:
1. Illegal hunting
2. Habitat destruction
3. Natural disasters
4. Global warming
5. Climate change
6. Too many animals consumption.
From the above factors, human is the main factor causing animal extinction. Today, people still hunt illegally for their hobbies. People hunt elephants to get their tusks for collection. They also hunt tiger, so they can get leather and body for decoration and clothing. They do not care of animal's life, they only think about their satisfaction.
We know that animals are one of the source of our food. Sometimes we just eat lots of animal products without thinking how the preserve the animals. Dinosaurs may have died because the climate became cooler. In other words, climate change makes the extinction of animals.
Natural disasters including global warming are also caused by human. Floods, landslide, and forest fires show that people do not care of their environment. People throw garbage anywhere, litter rivers, do illegal logging without replanting.
It becomes worst because natural disasters and global warming threaten the animal's life. Their habitats were affected. They do not have a place to live, to play, to protect themselves from dangers. This habitat destruction made them cannot survive and stay alive. No more peaceful life for animals.
Animals in The World
So many people like animals. Myself is one of those who like animals. I like rabbit, chicks, penguins, and joe. I love them because they are very cute and tame. I have rabbits as my pet. but I'm so sad. My pet was died two years ago because of the weather (it was too cold at that time).
There are many kinds of animals in the world. They live in different habitats. There are wild animals such as tiger, lion, bear and many others. Tame animals are rabbit, fish, chicken, cat and others. Tame animals usually can be used as pets in our house. In our country, Indonesia, there are also many kinds of animals. Some of them are special Indonesian animals. For example: Sumatera tiger, orangutan, bekantan, binturong,garuda bird and many.
