The way to slave bad soil

Well ok maybe the school soil wasn't the best, so we needed a little friend I like to call soil disc... soil disc... ? Yeah its an ammount of soil that has been individualy made by taking out all the liquid the soil contains and giving it the form of a disc. When you see and touch the soil disc it seems like compresed cardboard... Ohh boy!!! But everything changed when we added water.

It's aliveeee!!!!!!

To make the seed pot we used brown disc made of compacted soil, a plastic cup and a graduate cylinder with 5 ml of clear water. First we put the brown disc in the plastic cup. Then we pour 5 ml of water inside the cup. And you know what? 5 minutes later... and maybe other 5 minutes more, the disc of soil absorbed all the water and expanded and transformed into a cylinder inside the plastic cup. Then we removed out the expanded of soil from the plastic cup. With the pencil we made a hole in the middle of it where we put 3 to 5 tomato seed. Then we put the soil disc with the seeds in a crystal jar. We use the jar because its work like a greenhouse that will help the seeds germinated faster. We waited for 2 weeks maybe,3 maybe ok really we wait between 5 to 6 weeks and our babies started to grow up.

I'M A HAPPY MOM!!!
My baby name is AMY360. Yeaaaaah!!!

Observations

Here Jose is watching the results from when he poured water in the disk of soil and it grew until it became a cylinder, we had to plant our seed in there because the soil from the garden wasn't good e   After we planted the seed we waited 2 weeks and finally our babies are growing up.
