Hunger is the first thing I would destroy, but because of Physics is not possible to destroy what you can't touch or hear. On that side I would say Science is betraying us, but on the brighter side Science can also help us by giving us the tools to paint all that pain away in green. The color of hunger has many shades, but painting it with green is the simplest solution to end all that pain that hunger causes around the world.
To create green we need to think green. If we all learn to P.H.S. our own vegetables gardens we could help stop world hunger, and in that way we can paint the world happy.
So stick around and you will see how we can all P.H.S!
FACTS about the world hunger
According to the 30hourfamine webpage (2008), each day, over 26,000 children under the age of 5 die from malnutrition, hunger and other diseases that can be prevented. Ask your self why? The politicians and governments are just interested in economics and forget the people with hunger in this world. Remember what happen on September, 11 2001 with The World Trade Center in New York City? Hundreds of people died that day, but did you know what hunger kills day by day an equivalent to ten World Trade Center towers full of children in our world (Betto, 2004) in his article on September 29, 2004.
Also on the Thinkquest.org Library page “An end to world hunger: hope for the future” (2000), The World Health Organization estimates that one-third of the world is well-fed, one-third is under-fed one-third is starving. Since you've entered this site at least 200 people have died of starvation. Over 4 million will die this year.
Just stop for a second and think about it... What can we do to stop this?
