Good Reasons To Visit Rockingham:

Rockingham Foreshore:

Rockingham Foreshore is a great place to sit and chill on a weekend afternoon (or anytime).
You can have snacks at one of the great cafes, while having a perfect ocean view.
Later on, if you are full of energy, hire a bicycle cart and take a ride down the path with one or two friends, (depending on their size).
To hire the bike cart is $7:00 per cart. You can ride for 15 or 30 minutes depending how far you want to go.

As you stroll along the foreshore take the time to read the insets along the path...they have lots of local information that is interesting to learn.

Have fun with the family on the beach and relax, while the children play in the ocean, the boys fish off the jetty and the girls sit and sun bathe, or take advantage of the beach volleyball nets to work off all that lunch.

Later, you can cool down with a delicious ice-cream from one of our great ice-cream parlours. There are at least twenty different flavours to choose from along with tempting sweet dishes to die for!

For the children, there are two huge play areas and for Mum some great boutiques to browse through.

Whatever you feel like doing, Rockingham Foreshore is a great place to enjoy at any time!!

Hoyts Cinema:

Hoyts cinema is a great destination to watch the latest films. There are six theatres to choose from, so there should always be something on to please everyone.
The cinema also has a great range of machines to play on both before and after your movie.
There is a great refreshment stand with friendly staff, with the standard movie munchies plus more.
Right outside there is an Italian restaurant to complete your day.

Surfing:

Surfing is an Aussie national sport! On Secret Harbour beach, just a ten minute drive from Rockingham, ex-world champion Doug Kitchingman teaches people of all ages and abilities in groups or individually. Last term some students from our school took part in those lessons and thoroughly enjoyed it. We highly recommend you to take these lessons. It's great fun for everyone.
