Kings Park is one of Western Australia's most famous parks and botanic gardens. It is overlooking the Perth CBD and the Swan River. It is also one of Perths most popular tourist attractions.
The plants and trees are mostly native Western Australian. The main Entrance into Kings Park is surrounded with outstanding botanic gardens.
There are many war memorials in Kings Park and every year by the largest one there is an ANZAC service. It is held every year on the edge of the park, just overlooking Perth City.
There is also a giant grassed area which, in the middle has three giant fountains of different sizes that go off every minute or so.
When in Kings Park, don't forget to take your camera, there are too many wonderful sights to see and remember so why not have a photograph, they last a lot longer than memories.
Kings Park is a great place to go with the family, have a day together, whilst seeing wonderful sights and having a little picnic.

Sci-Tech
Sci-tech is a great place for families to explore and learn about science.
There are many different exhibits and puppet shows that help people of all ages to understand many things about science.
One year, Sci-Tech brought and exhibit to our school, and it was a small dome with all of the star constallations, and why the star signs have got their names and what they mean.
Sci-tech also does road shows, but they are mainly for schools. When they do road shows they have small presentations on lots of random science to do with anything they feel like doing.
Sci-tech is all about helping people to understand how the world works an when everything started.
It is a great place for families who are very adventurous and want to learn in a fun way.
The Shopping!!
Perth city has shops for everyone, from discount stores to designer boutiques and don't forget the brilliant Designer Outlets close to the city centre.
Perth has shops of all kinds... there are clothes stores, toy stores, grocery stores, $2 stores and even book stores! You can find a bargain really easily with all the stores and there is even take away for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Ferris Wheel
The new 50 meter ferris wheel in Perth is a very specail thing becasue this is the ride you can see the whole of Perth city out of. A fifteen minute ride in a capsual gives you a fantastic view of the city and Kings Park. The nightime view is spectacular with the white lights shining and it's now one of Perth's biggest attractions. Only built in 2008, the ferris wheel is another good reason to visit Perth sometime during your holiday.

Perth Museum and Art Gallery!
The Perth Museum and Art Gallery are both extrodinary. They are right opposite each other so it's easy to visit both.
Perth Museum is filled with all kinds of things like dinosaurs and butterflies, they even have a little hut to show you what type of life they lived in the olden days! There is something for everyone in there, whether it's sea creatures or animals that we still have today, or those from back in the olden days.
The Art Gallery has some extrodinary art pieces by fantastic artists! From starry nights to blazing fires, there is an art piece to suit everyone.
So these are two very good reasons to visit Perth during your stay!
The Bell Tower:
The Perth Bell Tower is a great landmark to see when coming to Perth. It is one of the highest buildings in Perth. It is situated on the Barrack Street Jetty, and overlooks the Swan River. It is also one of the most unique attractions in the world. It is quite an experience to climb the tower and see the bell ringers in action.
It is a great place to have formal dinners, wedding receptions, and birthday parties, also just an amazing sight!
