Entertainment In The Area
There is quite a bit of entertainment in Rockingham and the surronding areas. There is Hoyts Cinema in Rockingham and the Reading Cinema in Mandurah.
Mandurah Performaing Arts Centre is a great place to spend an evening. Rebecca's dancing school performs concerts there every year in December.
Mandurah Performing arts Centre also has plays and dramas. In the past they have done Beauty and the Beast and The Wizard of Oz, the Abba Story as well as serious dramas. They also have music stars performing.
On Mandurah foreshore, there are fairs and rides. They include a ferris wheel, two water slides, paddle boats and kayacks. Also in Mandurah there are restraunts, ice-cream places and parks for the children. Mandurah is a great place for the whole family.
Rockingham Forshore, has fabulous children's play areas, icecream places, cafes and much much more.
Entertainment Areas Near Perth:
In Cockburn there are a lot of places for the whole family like Adventure World (there is a piece of writing on it in top 5), Cockburn Ice Arena (also a page on top 5) plus many more.
In Burswood there is the Burswood Casino which is mostly for the adults in the family. There is Burswood Dome which is where famous singers from around the world sing, like soon, the PCD and Lady Gaga are performing there, plus in 2007, Rebecca went to a Veronicas concert there.
In Perth city there are sometimes circus's and performances like that.
Once every year Fremantle holds a street arts festival for anyone who is involved with comedy, dancing, acrobats, trapeze arts, magic, juggling, music, clowning, and visual arts to perform at. It is sponsored by Tourism WA and Eventscorp.
Just Random Entertainment:
There is entertainment everywhere at some point, in shopping centres there are cartoon characters like spiderman and superman, street dancers, and many others.
At Rockingham Forshore, there are little car like things that you go along the footpath with. You have to pedal the bike whilest steering but there is two to a car. To ride, it's just seven dollars per car, not people but per car. Tourism is a bit low and they aren't having much luck with the attraction but trust us, it's great fun!!
During the school holidays in W.A normally at Madruah shops there is something for the kids. Whether it's a show with Looney Tunes, Freddo Frog or even an arts and craft workshop, kids always have fun and during the holiays, it's a fun place to be, along with the food court beside it.
