One of the action plan to save the fish: “guide the other freshwater river into the area of the Qinghai Lake.”Above we discussed the ecological problems of Qinghai Lake. Shi pengding said that guiding the other freshwater river into the area of the Qinghai Lake will increase the quantity of water in the Qinghai Lake,and prevent the river from drying and the stranding of fish. We have research the map,and know about the condition of the topography .Then the students put forward some plans.

The plan I am thinking for:
Shi pengding,I think your plan is difficult to carry out. I’ve looked the map of Qinghai.Guiding the water from Longyang canyon will pass the high mountain district unless we dig a tunnel. But the tunnel should be long enough and digging it will spend lots of labors and money. Besides,the dam of Longyang canyon is very important for our use of electricity. I refered some materials,and some water experts think that guiding the water of Lajia canyon from the up- stream of Yellow River to the freshwater lake Erhai nearby the Qinghai Lake. I think this point is better,because of the high level of Lajia canyon and the lower level of Qinghai Lake. It’s possible to carry out.

Ziyu shang,you said guiding the water from Lajia canyon to the Qinghai Lake must solve the problem of passing Southmountain of Qinghai.At least it will dig out the tunnel of 20 to 40 km. Some experts said that there is period of frozen for five months from Qinghai Lake—Lajia canyon River. So I think the plan is not the best one.

The plans of Shipeng Ding and Ziyu shang have shown to everyone. They introduced the feasibility of their plans. My students,we must keep caring about the related news and trend of the plan of guiding water to save fish and developing our research continuely.
The second plan of saving fish:
the research of carrying out the artificial rainfall to the Qing hai Lake.Through looking up the related materials,I have surveyed the condition of the artificial rainfall in Qinghai area in recent years there carried out many times of the artificial rainfall. The sustained increasing of precipitation made the water runoff of the Qinghai Lake and the precipitation of Qinghai Lake increase.In spring,2005,the quantity of rainfall increased 25.3mm through carring out the aitificial rainfall surrounding the district of Qinghai Lake ,Huangnan and parts of Hainan ,increasing 1,268,000,000 cubic meter for the whole precipitation.Last year ,the average precipition of the Qinghai Lake basin was 397.1mm which was more 18.6mm than it in past years. It’s equivalent precipitation was 11,600,000,000cubic meters.These materials figured out that there carried out many times of artificial rainfall ,and got a great achievement!

The water area of Qinghai Lake expanded!
Through the invetigation, I found the increasing of the water runoff of the lake containing the alpine glacier and the melting of mountain snow from northwest of Qinghai Lake,except the artificial rainfall of Qinghai Lake.
The third plan of saving the fish:
I have said “we should plant more trees which can improve the environment arrounding the Qinghai Lake”,and I have looked up some materials:these years our government have carried out a project of changing into lakes gaass arrounding the Qinghai Lake .And they did many works to prevent the sand to harm the land,made a green berrier to prevent sand,which gave the Qinghai lake a green protective screen.They played the important role in keeping the balance of the Lake and promoting the protection of the ecological environment.
