herdsmen ,yaks,Wild blue sheep.

In the pasturing area, you can see the coexistence of the wild blue sheep, the cattle and the goats. The herdsmen have enough feedstuff for them. The nature belongs to us all and we should live together peacefully.

About the yaks and sheep.

This summer vocation I went to the pasturing area where my father worked. I saw many sheep and yaks there and I heard that the sheep ate little but grew up fast, reproduced speedily and produced lots of wool while the yaks were just the opposite. so which points as follows is right?

Positions:

They should only feed sheep. (0)
They shouldn’t only feed sheep (5)

  • They shouldn’t only feed sheep

Our teacher has told us a story: there was once a place where the wolves always hunted the deer, so people decided to kill all the wolves. But after that they found there were even more deer dying. They knew later without chase of the wolves, the deer would die of a kind of illness for lack of exercises. Then local people put the wolves back, as a result the quantity of the deer increased. This story tells us that in the grassland there should be not only cattle and sheep but also some other wild animals like wolves and only this could keep the ecological balance.

In the pasturing area also live the wolves besides herdsmen, yaks and sheep. What if the wolves hunt the sheep?

I also heard from the herdsmen that the yak dung could supply ample nourishment for the grass and the sheep will be more healthy and stronger kept together with yaks.

  • They shouldn’t only feed sheep

According to the materials I have consulted, the living rate of sheep and yaks in Guoluo region in Southern Qinghai is 1:1.1, while the rate is 3:1 in the Lake region. This shows that the herdsmen didn’t ruminate on money and keep only the sheep.

It is obviously wrong to keep only sheep, because the yaks could provide for the herdsman meat, milk and ghee. And as some herdsmen use cattle dung as their fuel, how can they live without yaks?

Thoughts!

Actually we have learnt this in class, our teacher said that in one ecological environment,no chains could be broken and living things should have balanced development.the herdsmen, sheep, cattle and wild animals in the pasturing area and the people, fish, birds and plants in or around the Qinghai Lake bear a coexistence and cause & effect relationshipIn an ecosphere, no chains could be broken and they should have a balance development. The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has a fragile ecology and while it is where lies the headstream of the three rivers, the eco-environment is difficult to be recovered once damaged. So during thousands of years, people here have been treasuring their hometown a lot and their religious faith, their banning rules and their production and living have had a much positive effect upon the eco-environmental protection, which is in complete accord with the idea of environmental protection in the present world.Herdmen should not only protect the domestic animal, but also protect grassland and wild animal,In one world, human、animals and plants should have a harmonious relationship.pupils care for animals around us,Learn more about the Qinghai,Use our knowledge to better protect our environment.
