I’m a student from Xining Nanshan Road Primary School. Since I went to the Qinghai Lake personally, I found you achieved a lot of improvements on the management of Qinghai Lake, but there are many problems here, I would like to tell you my suggestions.
1. Green plants are not enough. On our way to Qinghai Lake, I found that the land is surrounded by desert, and hills on the ground only a few scattered grass, but every ten seconds I can see a lot of sheep, they ate the grass on the surface, and eat root-grass, so that grass will not grow again next year, and the area where is no grass will continue to expand desertification, and now a good rainfall in Qinghai Lake area is a good opportunity to plant trees and grass, we should seize this opportunity and plant grass for the future of the joint efforts of Qinghai Lake.
2. Overgrazing. I think sheep are too much around the Qinghai Lake, sheep will eat more grass. The grass will not be able to grow so that there will be a more serious desertification.
3. Vandalism. In Qinghai Lake we found that some of the local herdsmen rode their horses around Qinghai Lake, has some curiosity tourists to ride their horses. They got money, but the horse trampled on the grass. There is a lot of damage. And horses’ faeces also has a lot of impacts on the environment around the Qinghai Lake. I think we should let them know that their act has so much damage.
4.Garbage cleaning. As we know, the litter around the Qinghai Lake is cleaned every 15 days, I feel that it’s a long time. The refuse on the off-season is much, not to mention the season. I think we should add some more persons to clean.
5.Motorcycles on the sand. We understand that riding motor is legal on the sand, I feel that since there is sand motorcycle, we should set up a sandy track for motorcycles in order to not damage the grass.

Dear honored leader of Qinghai Environmental Protection Bureau,
I am a student of Qinghai xining city. We are participating in an activity sponsored by the Oracle Foundation; I am the one among those group members. In this activity, the primary tasks of our project team are: start discusses research and exchange activities through combination of checking references, Field survey, field research, experts’ interviews and experts’ lectures. By taking part in the activity, I know that the water level of Qinghai Lake is really rising within the past four years. But overall, this level is in a trend of dropping. We should prevent the situation from continue. First of all, I think the herdsman nearby should pasture with plan and regularity; they should not cut down trees around the Lake, and they should not use the water of rivers in Qinghai Lake valley just as they wish. Furthermore, we should grow more trees and grass in the area, and should control rodent，meanwhile，we should adopt measures like, enhanced the degree of artificial precipitation in Qinghai Lake valley. Mr. Director, the above mentioned measures are some of my opinion on control of surrounding environment of Qinghai Lake, for reference only. Wish you all the best in your work. Thank you.

I’m a student from Nanshan Road Primary School. We went to Qinghai Lake last Sunday. Although management of Qinghai Lake has improved quite a lot, I still think that there are some problems, I would like to mention to you some personal recommendations, ok?
1.On our way to Qinghai Lake, we can see flocks of sheep and cattle about every 5 seconds on the side of the road. So many cattle and sheep grazing, the grass and grass-roots will be eat up sooner or later, then grassland will become a wilderness grassland, then how should we do. I would like to give some help or compensation to herdsmen, so that there is an appropriate reduction in the number of cattle and sheep.
2.As far as I know, it rains frequently in Qinghai Lake recently. If we increase staff to plant trees and grass, it would be a very good chance.
3.In the peripheral of Qinghai Lake, I often see tourists stop to take photographs. But if you look closely, you can see the abandoned garbage roadside everywhere. Qinghai Lake is in the development of our tourism industry, but continues to destroy the environment, is this the result we want it? Of course, the trash is not enough. It is one of the reasons. 4.The people of Qinghai Lake have an unparalleled feeling to Qinghai naked carps. I am a primary student from South Street Primary School in Xining city. Since I went to Qinghai Lake, I saw the surrounding environment has changed a lot under your management , but there are still many problems , I would like to give you some recommendations, OK?
1. We were the way to Qinghai Lake, the grassland of both sides of the road was damaged seriously, the grass is not growing very lush, there are many sheep were eating grass. If there is enough grass, sheep will eat grass roots. It will be not conducive to the development of grassland vegetation. Cattles and sheep have been eating up grass-roots, and tomorrow there will be no new grass. I think the herders should reduce the volume of cattle and sheep. Can you give herders some financial subsidies from the pastoralists, it can made up for their losses, but also Qinghai Lake is good for the future development.
2. We went to the Qinghai Lake, and also interview with the administrator of the lake. It was learned that the Qinghai Lake has a garbage cleaning on average 15 days. I think this time interval is too long, there will be many refuse in 15 days, and garbage has a lot of damage on the environment of Qinghai Lake. Arrange regular person to clean every day in the lake, so Qinghai Lake will be more clean .
3. The beach near Qinghai Lake is an entertainment district, there are the beach motorcycles. We understand that it is legal. I think there should not be set up beach motorcycles, because the operation of motorcycles effects the environmental governance on the Qinghai Lake. Therefore, if there set up beach motorcycle , there should be a Specialized motorcycle sand area, and increase some protection measures and protection equipments.

Qinghai Lake is a Highlights and is one of the main tourist attractions in Qinghai Lake. Qinghai Lake environmental governance measures: combine with rewards and punishments. Check manager on the management of Qinghai Lake regularly.
