Notice(通知)

Please carry your rule and notebook, we will assemble at school gate on Tuesday 1:00 pm and head for south hill to observe how plant plays an important role in conservation of water and soil.

通知:请伙伴们带好尺子以及记事本,星期二中午一点在校门口集合,我们到南山去观察草木是如何保持水土的。

There are a lot of harvesting.

Investigation on south hill is finish, thanks Qihl qi for contacting the survey. The activity is significant, we learnt the knowledge of grass from farmers, measured the length of exposed roots, observed a place where grass and water grass areas, listened to the teacher on the water and soil maintained about the trees and grass. There are a lot of harvesting.What do you realize, my friends?

愉快的南山之行结束了,我们向农民伯伯请教了种草知识,测量了裸露在外的树根长度,观察了有草的地方和无草的地方的水量情况,听了老师讲解树草对水土保持的讲解,有很大的收获

  • We all know that the growth of plants can not be separated from water. So the grass is growing, it is certain that the soil in the grass. I am sure that there is much water in the soil, so plants can continue to grow. Grass to retain water in thr soil.我们都知道植物的生长离不开水。看到正在生长的绿草,可以肯定的是在草的土壤中肯定有水分,这样植物才能继续生长。草能留住土壤中的水。

  • Although I did not participate in the trip to Nanshan personally , but the results they explored is more or less the same as the information I have.Grass, trees and other plants can keep the land moist, so that soil does not drain. If there are some green plants in Qinghai Lake,they will not soil erosion.虽然我没有亲自参加这次南山之行,但是他们探索的结果和我所查的资料大致相同,草,树​等植物可以保持土地湿润,使水土不会流失,如果在青海湖周边种上一些绿色植物,就不会​水土流失。

  • I realize the role of grass in water conservation by examining the south hill. After reached there, we took up several grass lands and bare lands for observation. We found that land without grass is dry; instead, the soil near grass roots is wet. This proves the role of grass in water conservation. If we plant grass around Qinghai Lake, is it helpful to the trend of water level rising in Qinghai Lake?
    通过去南山的考察,我发现草有保持水分的作用。到了南山,我们找了几处草地和光地观察,我们发现,没有草的地方,地面都是干燥的,而草根周围的土壤却是潮湿的,证明了草有保持水分的作用。如果在青海湖周边都种上草,草能起到保持水分的作用,这对青海湖水位保持上涨的趋势不是很有帮助吗。

  • We measured roots that come to the surface of several trees; those roots are as far as 4.6m to the tree trunk. Teacher told us those face-out roots are only a small part of the whole tree roots, the part that is in the soil is very long and is also very deep. In my opinion, if we grow trees around the Qinghai Lake, sand and soil would be fixed, thus the sand wouldn’t be blown away.
    我们在南山找了几棵树,并且测量了显露出来的树根长度,裸露的树根最远处距树干大约有4.6米长。老师说这些裸露的树根只是整个树根长度的一小部分,深入土层的部分,不但很长,而且还很深。我认为树木的根既然有那么长、那么深,如果在青海湖周边都种上树,树木会把沙土固持在一起,那样沙子就不会被风吹走了。

we will assemble respectively in each school on Tuesday 2:30 pm and run experiments, please carry your hair-dryer and bucket.
Experiment content:
1、Use the hair-dryer to blow separately the soil and soil around grass roots. Which kind of sand is easier to be blew away? Please record the results.
2、Use water to flush separately the soil and soil around grass roots. Which kind of sand is easier to be washed away? Please record the results.
3、Sprinkle water separately on the soil and soil around grass roots. Which part of water is easier to be evaporated? Please record the results.
请同学们带好电吹风和水桶,星期二中午两点半分别在各自的学校集合,各自进行实验,实验内容
1、用电吹风分别吹纯泥土和草根周围的泥土,看看哪种泥土更容易被吹走,并做好实验结果记录
2、用水分别去冲纯泥土和草根周围的泥土,看是哪种泥土更容易被冲走,请做好实验结果记录。
3、把水分别洒在纯泥土和草根周围的泥土中,看看哪一种泥土中的水更容易被蒸发,请做好实验结果记录。

  • I looked at my watch in the experiment. I found that in three minutes , pure soil was blown over, but the soil around the roots is only a very small part of blown away. Before three days , we watered the pure soil and the soil of grass, three days later, the water of pure soil drought, but there is grass in the soil with water still exist. The soil is wet, indicating grass can play a role for soil and water conservation. The grass plays an irreplaceable role in governance desertification.
    我在试验中,负担掌握实验时间,我发现,三分钟的时间,纯泥土就被吹完了,但草根周围的土只吹走了极少的一部分,三天前我们给纯泥土和长有草的泥土中浇上水,三天后,纯泥土中的水早没了,但有草的泥土中的水却还存在,泥土很潮湿,这说明草对能起到保持水土的作用,在治理土地沙化中,草起着不可替代的作用

  • Through experiments, I have seen:
    (1) pure soil has been blown away more easily than the soil around the roots.
    (2) pure soil were washed away more easily than the soil around the roots.
    (3) pure water in the soil evaporate easily than the soil around the water of the roots. It shows that the grass plays a significant role to maintain on the land and water.
    通过实验,我看到
    (1)纯泥土比草根周围的泥土更容易被风吹走。
    (2)纯泥土比草根周围的泥土更容易被水冲走。
    (3)纯泥土中的水比草根周围的泥土中的水更被蒸发
    由此说明,草对水土的保持有很大的作用。

  • I found that the grass has a fixed role of water, there is more humid on the grass areas. We have measured the exposed roots, they are three meters long, The teacher said, some roots buried underground are longer and deeper. He likes mother's arms, clinging tightly to the soil, so it will be difficult to drain the water and soil.
    我发现了草有固定水分的作用,有草的地方就比较潮湿,我们还量了裸露的树根,有3米多长呢,老师说,埋在地下的部分更长,在地底下扎得更深,他像母亲的怀抱,紧紧地抱住土壤,所以,水土就不容易流失了。

  • Judge from the outcomes of those experiments, it’s clear that, soil is much easier to be blown away by wind than that around grass roots; is much easier to be washed away by water and the water in soil is much easier to be evaporated. We realize grass favors the protection of soil and favors conservation of soil and water

    从实验结果看,纯泥土要比草根周围的泥土更容易被风吹走,更容易被水冲走,泥土表面的水分更容易被蒸发。体会到种草有利于对土壤的保护,有利于水土保持。
