Keeping your brain healthy

As well as keeping your heart and body healthy, you need to keep your brain functioning, too. It is another very important organ in your body. Doing puzzles, crosswords, sudokus etc. help keep it active. Even reading is better for your brain than watching television! In fact, watching a lot of T.V. helps detioriate your brain a lot faster. But if you don't want to read, or if you don't know how to do a sudoku, you could solve some simple maths questions. If you do that very quickly, your brain will be very healthy! Try this test:

You will need to time yourself for this. Answer all the questions as fast as you can. Make sure you write them down! When you are finished, re-check all your answers to make sure they're right. Add on 2 seconds to your time for every incorrect answer.

4+8=
9-2=
5+5=
18-12=
5x6=
4/2=
The remainder of 9/6 is=

If it took you:
5 seconds or less = your brain is well above average!
6-10 seconds = your brain can't improve too much more!
11-15 seconds = your brain is very healthy!
16-20 seconds = your brain is about average
21-30 seconds = if you practice, your brain could improve big time!
31 seconds or more = your brain could do with a bit of oiling

How did you do? You can try for a better score if you want!

THAT'S OUR PROJECT. WE HOPE YOU LIVE A HEALTHIER LIFE FROM NOW ON. THAT'S ALL FROM US, BYE, AND GOOD LUCK!
