Games

Gaming industry
Games have always been a way of enjoying our time, and in the past few years the industry has developed to a very large size. You name it, computer games, card games, board games, you have them all.
Computer games have evolved strictly related to the capacities that computers have, and together with the internet. Countless debates over it's use (or lack of use) have been hold. But what we should really look at is not how useful it is, but whether it is an enjoyable experience or not. Of course, over-gaming is not good and can lead to many disadvantages, but playing computer games can teach a person how to further develop their strategic abilities, eye-hand coordination, puzzle-solving abilities and many other.
Board games and card games were developed in order to facilitate human interaction. As in most board games, there is a minimum number of 3 players (at least, for some the number is even bigger) and always involves the necessity of either convincing others to do something or involves real team-play (there are games where the players don't fight against each other, but are separated in two teams; there are even games where all the players work together and fight against the game itself).
Card Games
Card games are games played with specially made cards. These cads can be divided into two categories: TCG(trading card games) or CCG(collectible card games).
One of the most famous TCG is Magic the Gathering.
At every card game a player has a deck of a specified number of cards which is consisted from resources, creatures and magic. Usually the players take turns in this game. The number of players can depend on the game but usually there are just two - and in more than two players, the game can be played either in teams or everyone against everyone.
Usually, there are 4 main areas of the "battlefield": The deck, cards that have not been drawn yet but will be drawn later. Some games have rules that state that if you are unable to draw anymore cards from your deck (meaning they have all been drawn already), you lose. The hand consists of cards that have been drawn but not yet played. The player can see his own hand, and sometimes even your opponent can if he uses special abilities. Most games have a maximum number of cards that you can hold in you hand. In play consist or cards that are already having effect on the game. Creatures must be in play in order to be able to use their abilities, and so must sorcery. Most cards need to be paid with resources to enter the "in play" zone. The out of the game zone consist of cards that do not have effect on the game or that have finished their desired consequences.
Most TCGs are distributed through booster packs. It is better if the first set of cards that you buy is the starter deck so you can have an easy start. The majority of the TCG's usually have tournaments in which players compete against one another.
These card games are considered to develop the strategic abilities of a person, thus just like in chess, the players have to think about all the moves his opponent would make. The player must learn to use his own cards' power at maximum.
