The causes of the rise prices of food articles are three:
The first cause:the wide use of some food substances like maize and Soya to produce biological fuel. For example the USA used two third of its production of maize last year e.g. it used about 138 tons to produce bio Ethanol and bio diesel.
The second cause:stock operations that caused 30% of the rate of the rise in prices of food substances.
Chicago stock of the prices food is controlled and dominated by 5 or 6 multinational companies like kargil that control one fourth of the world production of grains.
The third cause that deepened this crisis is the imposed structural reforms by IMF on some developing countries and obliging them to grow produce for exportation instead of encouraging them to secure food for local inhabitants.
