What do we learn in school about sound?
We love music!
A lot of children from our school had the opportunity to show their talent and their love for music during the anniversary of 19 years from the foundation of our High School. The concert was held in 9 April 2009 ,in the school yard , making heard the good voices of young schoolchildren.
One of the members of our project had her first concert in front of thousands of people. As all the children did,she showed her love for music and the energy from her heart delighted our soul.Congratulations Ioana!
Heavy Days is a very lovely and talented band from Cluj-Napoca ,who made a lot of children happy with their great songs. The solist, Anda Iosip ,is learning in our school and she is a very good friend of us,too.
We lived great moments listening to all of them. So, we have posted some movies from the concert. We hope you'll enjoy them as we did!

|The first steps in learning how to play the violin.
12 April 2009 - the first day of joining "Music camp" in our town.
'Music Camp' experience
Our music teacher noticed our desire to study, enthusiasm, love and attraction to music, and advised us to attend a music camp. The Easter holiday was not far away, so we decided to invest our free time in a few hours of pleasant music. We took her advice and joined a Music Camp in our town,to find out more about playing a musical instrument.Of course, in our schedule were included two hours of chorus, when we sang religious songs by Handel. The friendly atmosphere and the patient teachers captured us for a week. We learned to play the guitar and developed musical skills during the choir classes. Our entire work was materialized in a spectacular concert on the Easter Eve, where our parents and friends were delighted with peaceful and holy songs. We felt gratitude, being very proud of what we had learned. The piano arrangements were carrying us on the most soothing waves and our voices expressed the most varied feelings. In our opinion, we managed to transmit the audience our emotions and the miracle of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We learnt a lot from this experience.A week of playing the quitar can help you produce beautiful chords...and we will surely use the knowledge to sing around the camp fire in the next summer camp.
The Music Camp included two age categories of children who could attend the classes:10 to 14 year olds and another group between 14-18.We noticed that gymnasium children were in a larger number than high school children.Consequently, we can say that teenagers of our age, are less interested in learning and developing musical skills. The most played musical instruments in the camp were the guitar and the violin. There were round 70 children attending violin clssses and 50 attending the guitar classes. We can certainly say that violins and guitars are the most loved and accesible musical instruments among teenagers.
In conclusion, the love for music and musical instruments can be increased in such camps and children will have nothing to lose.
This film was taken after the whole 'Music Camp' experience...all the groups were singing together "Menuet" by J.S.Bach...we played this song in front of a big audience on the Easter Eve..great atmosphere.Enjoy it!
