Introduction
The word “Music” would not have existed in this world if there were not any instruments to play. Just the way Rock developed with time in the same manner the instruments for rock also developed. Instruments can also be thought as the soul of the music. In 90’s the instruments were as follows:

ELECTRIC GUITAR
Electric Guitar is a guitar that uses some sorts of transducers to capture mechanical signals, also known as pickups, converts it into vibrations from its steel-cored strings into electric currents, and then amplifies it into loud voice. It shows many special effects. Developing over years and years from a guitar, by the 90’s it was fully developed.

BASS
Bass Guitar is a simple stringed instrument played with the help of finger or plectrum. In the 90’s the on board battery-powered electronics were started being incorporated into the normal basses for better effects.

DRUMS
Drums have remained one of the most important instruments for rock bands for setting up beats. It consisted of many small organs to make up a complete drum sets like the drums, cymbals, and sometime many other percussion instruments. In the early years before the 90’s the drummers mostly used five or six piece drum sets, but coming till the present day they were redirected towards the use of four piece drums.

GUITAR
Guitars are the instruments with generally six strings, but it could also be having 4 strings, 7 strings, 8 strings, 10 strings, 11 strings, 12 strings, 13 strings, and 18 strings. The guitars are those instruments that are believed to have very ancient roots. Similar instruments like the guitar came into origin nearly 4000 years ago and since then it has developed a lot.

KEYBOARDS
It is an instrument, played with the help of a musical keyboard. A keyboard generally has 12 notes with a perfect combination of long and short keys. Pianos, harpsichord, organ, etc. are the examples of different sorts of Keyboards. A piano generally used to have 67 to 88 keys with 25 notes.

SYNTHESIZERS
An Electronic Instrument used to produce large number of various sounds, using different frequencies. Coming until the 90’s the synthesizers or Synths became an important part of the rock music bands that helped them to add curious effects along with the electronic guitar. They were created by Robert Moog (Moogs and Minimoogs).

TURNTABLISM
It is a music mixer used in manipulating sounds and creating their own music using Phonograph turntables and through a DJ Mixer. However, it was mostly used in hip-hop of music but still it played a major role in manipulating the beats for the rock music.
