Analysis of Rock and Roll survey

On page "Rock and Roll" (in ThinkQuest "My home"), some questions were raised on Rock to interact with the ThinkQuest community. Until April 21 2009, there were 1337 people who attended the page, 265 teachers and 1112 students from about 29 countries such as:
Brazil, India, USA, Romania, Egypt, South Africa, United Kingdom, Puerto Rico, Malaysia, Indonesia, Croatia, Hungary, Philippines, Italy, Thailand, Australia, Pakistan, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, Spain, Canada, China, Holland, Hong Kong, Argentina, Greece, Poland and Peru.

The first question was "If you could go back in time, which era of Rock would you prefer?". There were 1377 votes in – 9% chose the years 1950, 10% chose the 60's, 14% chose the 70's, 19% chose the 80's, 13% chose the 90's and 33% chose the present days. Some justify their vote with the following phrases: "The return to the past makes people feel good"; "... I liked the clothes that women wore in the 50", "were the best years for music, it was relaxed and healthy, with interesting songs and contagious rhythms." We noticed that the page got a nostalgic effect: some people returned to childhood, adolescence or youth and recalled the years when living with Rock, speaking of this season with joy and longing.

The second question was "What musical instrument used in Rock do you like?". There were 57 votes: 57% chose the guitar, 5% chose the bass, 10% chose the keyboard, 17% chose the drums and 8% chose other instruments. It seems that the electric guitar is the musical instrument that symbolizes Rock and Roll.

The third question was "Do you think Rock influenced the lifestyle, fashion, attitudes and language of the people?". Two hundred and forty three people answered yes and only twenty three said no; people said: "Music is an art. A form of expression with great power to stir the emotions. When the art excites many people, it certainly influences the behavior and way of life of people".
