Our dream school should be a biodiversity hot spot!!

Why do we need a biodiversity in our school?
Ecology teaches us that the environment of any species plays two important roles. The first is to provide the essential materials for growth and reproduction of that species; the second is to remove and transform its waste products, which are by definition useless and often noxious to it. A failure of either of these two is bound to have an adverse and sometimes catastrophic effect on the concerned species. Ecosystems and the biosphere continue to function because of the relentless pressure of natural selection has meant that organisms that thrive on the waste products of other organisms have evolved. Thereby ensuring the continuing cycles of materials and energy. If biological diversity has any function it is purely this. It is a self generating and stable system.
