  • 500 gr spaghetti
  • 7/8 fresh tomatoes
  • basils
  • olive oil- 2 spoons

GRANNY'S CAKE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

DOUGH

1 egg + 3 yolks
250 grams flour
100 grams sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
100 grams butter
1 vanilla essence
50 grams pine kernels
Icing sugar


CREAM PASTICCERA

2 yolks
4 spoons sugar
4 spoons flour
i lemon essence
½ litre milk (about 1 pint)

HOW TO MAKE THE DOUGH
First mix flour, sugar, vanilla essence, butter and baking powder. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add 1 egg and 3 yolks and mix to soft the dough. Then roll out the dough on a flatted buttered pan. Pour the cream pasticcera on it and the pine kernels. Bake it in the oven to 150 c for about 20/25 minutes. When the cake is cold, sprinkle the icing sugar on it
HOW TO MAKE THE CREAM PASTICCERA
Put yolks and sugar in a bowl and beat for about 2 minutes with a wooden spoon. Add the flour and continue to beat for about 3 minutes.
Add the milk and put the bowl with the ingredients on the gas cooker.Stir all the ingredients until they’ll become a cream.
I made and baked the biscuits with the dough left
