The Region which is the subject of this study, namely the "versantul dobrogean" is located in the south-east of the settlement being between following geographic coordinates: at the north of parallel 45 degrees 18 minute north latitude, south of parallel 44 degrees 15 minute north latitude, west of the meridian 27 degrees 24 minute east longitude and east of the meridian 28 degrees 20 minute east longitude.
