Dense forest, clean air, sparkling water, clean environment was the world 20 years back. But, today, all these seem to be a dream which can be never achieved. Today, when we move out of our houses, we need to wear masks, put on an air conditioner, go to a lake or a park and breathe fresh air and to spend time in a healthy environment. On the other side of the hedge, we see the depleting natural resources and exhausting fuels and their effect which pose serious questions in our minds. But now the scientists have managed to come out with a solution, which is the solar energy and that is why we chose to do a project and deeply explored “energy of the Mighty Sun”.
The fuels used today, have two major problems associated with them. First of all, they are exhaustible or non-renewable and secondly, after combustion, they give out carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen, oxides of sulphur and carbon monoxide. Due to all, these gases, they are many gases; there are many consequences which have taken away our sleep, namely, global warming, acid rain, and many more problems which do not have any solutions.
Global warming is a major issue of the day which is mainly due to carbon dioxide and methane. Carbon dioxide is emitted from vehicles, industries, factories etc and it is estimated on an average 350 kg of carbon dioxide given out per year and there is an increase of the global temperature by 23ºC every year.
This is just an example, there are umpteen such examples and it is all like a mystery in front of us!
The biggest and the earliest solution for all the problems is finding an alternative source of energy.
So, here we start our journey towards the Sun... And explore the power of the mighty Sun and also explore the possibilities, advantages and disadvantages of the Solar Energy. Jai ho Surya Bhagvan!!!
