The issue of Global Warming is very popular right now. The world is facing the crisis of energy and food. It made Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the President of Indonesia urge all of Creative Industry agents to make “Friendly Environment Industries”, which considers creativity and to bring up the history o the Country.

Okay, let’s talk about friendly environment industries. Right now, there are some example of friendly environment industries. For example, the batik industry in Kauman, Solo, Centre Java, Indonesia. With their Litbang, they already foster coloring process with natural way to applying on cloth.

Natural coloring is usually used to produce a soft color of batik (traditional cloth from Indonesia), natural color are made from plan’s stem, leaf, root, or fruits. Natural color is better than chemical color, because the remnant of nature color are easy to compose by the environment.

Rajapolah is located in Tasikmalaya, West Java, Indonesia. Rajapolah is a small home industry. Rajapolah produces traditional stove and braid handicrafts. Braid Handicraft is the superior product from Rajapolah to become the main and the activator of micro-economic of the Rajapolah region.

This industry is also a Friendly Environment Industry, because they make their handicraft and traditional stove using natural materials, such as bamboo, wood, leaf, rock, and earthenware. The process of making the Traditional Stove is also by a natural ways. They make the Traditional stove by heating up the earthenware with the burned charcoal.
