Hip-hop is now recongised and amazingly popular round the world. Its influences have emerged in other countries and distinct evolutionary changes that differ from country to country have been made to it.

Many groups who dominate the Korean music industry are often associated with the hip-hop genre. Popular ones are Epik High and BoA.

Hip-hop emerged in the U.K in the 1980s and in other European countries around the 1980s to 1990s.

Australia hip-hop is largely influenced by urban African-American styles while the large hip-hop stars in New Zealand are often Maori or Pacific Islander.

The genre in Israel has grown greatly and stars from both sides of the Israeli and Pakistani divide have emerged.
