Understand people. Be understood by others.
Introduction
We are a group of students from the Fairfield Media Club!
The theme for our website is body language!
Why did we ever choose this theme anyway?
That's because we felt that it was a fun
way to raise the awareness of your surroundings.
Through our website, we hope that our viewers
can learn more about why people act the way
they do, even if it is done unconsciously. What
is the message they are trying to convey
through their posture? You may even get to
find out how they are feeling without even
asking or talking to them at all. It also
helps you to know what type of body languages
you should not portray. Does your body language
sometimes convey rudeness or is found offending? This is
the chance where you finally get to know it all!
Logo:
The logo is an inverted question mark which symbolizes a light-bulb.
It says "Are you understood? " This sort of prompts you whether
your body language is being conveyed properly.
How the team worked together:
We discussed among each other and made sure all our work were
divided equally. After which we had to compile all our work
together to complete our final work piece.
How the tasks were divided:
Our website required a certain amount of animation.
Therefore we had split our work according to those
who were doing the animation and those who were
researching for the content.
Aim
By creating this website,
our aim is to introduce the different types of body language and the message a person
may convey through them. By exposing you to the different possibilities,
we hope to widen your knowledge and perspective of inter-communication between people.
This website aims to make learning interesting and fun for you! Please feel free to
browse and explore any part of this web.
Overcoming Challenges
Challenges are always present in project work.
What are the challenges we faced then? Firstly,
we could not decide on an appropriate theme which
is entertaining and educational at the same time.
We even had to change our theme in the course of
our work. But finally, we had agreed upon the theme
Body Language and work towards it! The other problem
we had was meeting up during the holidays. Everyone
had their own personal commitments and our schedule
was tight. However, we managed to discuss this
properly and take time out from our busy schedule.
