Honestly assess your abilities, budget and likely riding areas before shopping.

 

 Height and Width Test

- the length of board is always printed on it

- you want a board that is between your chin and your nose

- If you are a recreational rider, park, pipe, freestyle you want to size down to make it easier to turn

- If you are a powder rider, carver, or agressive you shoule size up to be able to carve better

-If you have big feet go for a wider board to aviod toe drag
