Is your home well-lit at all times?

This result is similar to the previous question. 77% of the respondants do have a well-lit home at all times. Why is this important? A well-lit room could help prevent most of the home accidents that happened unneccessarily such as falling from the sides of stairs, tripping over small objects/slippery floor, etc.

This is especially important for houses with old folks, which because of their poor eyesight, fell prey to the sharp corners or others, that are left unseen in under not well-lit conditions. Therefore, having a high response rate of well-lit homes, we can eliminate that home accidents might have happen as a result of having overlook something that they cannot see, so the question now shifts to

Why is there still a high rate of home accidents reflected in the literature review data?, which will be answered later on. As for the 23% of the respondants who do not have a well-lit home at all times, it could be because they feel that it is a waste of resources to spend on lighitng up areas, that they are not in, and they may subsequently overlooked lighing up the area they are in, and home accidents could happen along the way.
