Carmen: Do you think robots are important to humankind? Give an argument.
George: I think that robots are important to humankind, because they simplify our life, they are more resistant than an average person, making them suitable for rescuing and exploration missions, and do not have many needs, just a periodical inspection.
Carmen: How do you see the world developing in relation with the evolution of robotics?
George: In my opinion, that people will develop a dependence for robots, in their atempt to reduce the number a work-related accidents, preferring to let the robots handle dangerous tasks. I certainly hope that humans won't become couch potatoes and let robots handle their everyday tasks.
Carmen: Would you prefer to do your own work or to let a robot do it for you?
George: I prefer to do my own work. I don't like the idea of a machine made of plastic and metal being better than me.
Carmen: Very good. Now tell me do you keep yourself informed about robotics?
George: Yes I do. I like to keep myself informed about the latest advancments in robotics, especially the ones related to medicine and artificial intelligence.
Carmen: What kind of robot would you like to posses? Why?
George: I would like a robot with which i could talk, from which i can learn new things, and can simulate human movement and behaviour. Basically, I would like a mechanical human.
Carmen: Thank you very much for everything.
George: You`re more then welcome.
