Anca: Do you think robots are important to humankind? Give an argument.
Mrs. Popescu: Robots play an important role in the modern era, an era of rapid economical development. Using them in various activities, where man does not have acces (for example, places with extreme temperatures, or very tight spaces) leads to a growth in productivity and decrease in costs.
Anca: How do you see the world developing in relation with the evolution of robotics?
Mrs. Popescu: Robotics will continually develop, humans having the tendency to use robots equipped with intelligence close to that of a normal human being, in almost all fields.
Anca: Would you prefer to do your own work or to let a robot do it for you?
Mrs. Popescu: Sometimes, for specific activities, I prefer the robot.
Anca:Do you keep yourself informed about robotics?
Mrs. Popescu: Yes, more or less. Fror example, a robot with which you can communicate with has been developed in Japan.
Anca: What kind of robot would you like to posses? Why?
Mrs. Popescu: I would like a rbot that can help me do my household chores.
