Interviewing Florian Dovincescu

Our team member, Catalin, interviewed Florian Dovincescu, who`s a student and likes to work with computers. Let`s see what he thinks about robotics.

Catalin: Do you think robots are important to humankind? Give an argument.
Florian: Yes, the next step in production and manual labour they represent the same stage as industrialization only more advanced.

Catalin: How do you see the world developing in relation with the evolution of robotics?
Florian: In balance between good and bad if left unchecked they might develop their own inteligence, not in 10 years, not in 50, but it will sure happen someday.

Catalin: Would you prefer to do your own work or to let a robot do it for you?
Florian: Depends on the work. Some things would be better done by robots, others by the human hand.

Catalin: Do you keep yourself informed about robotics?
Florian: Not too much, only occasional.

Catalin: What kind of robot would you like to posses? Why?
Florian: Don't know and don't really care, they are not here yet.

Catalin: Thank you very much for your time.
Florian: My pleasure.
