Acid drop- to ride off something and free falling to the ground.
Alley-oop- where a trick is preformed in a different direction than the skater is facing.
Board slide- to grind with the contact point under the board.
Carve- to make a long curving ark when skating.
Dark slide- go to grind something, flip the board, and grind on the tape.
Fakie- Riding backwards.
Half cab- A 180 caliber.
Heel flip- while olling, push heel down causing the board to flip.
Heel side edge- Edge of the board closest to the rider’s heel.
Manual- another name for a wheelie.
McTwist- 540 performed on a ramp. Named after Mike McGill.
Nollie- Like an Ollie, but off the front of the board.
Nose grind- Use the front trucks to grind.
Wall ride- To ride on a wall that has no transition.
Wood core- Various types of wood used to provide the shape and thickness of a board.
Zonk- Hit the wall.
