BASKETBALL POSITIONS and THEIR JOBS
There are 5 positions on the court of basketball and they all have jobs.
The center is usually the tallest person on the team. The center is responsible for scoring close to the basket and blocking shots and getting rebounds.
The point guard is the best dribbler on the team. Handles the ball and directs the offense.
The players in this spot are good rebounders, are able to catch passes and make shots near the basket. A power forward is like the center but is 15ft away from the basket.
The shooting guard is the team best perimeter shooter, is generally taller then the point guard but shorter then the small forward.
A small forward is the most aggressive and strong and able to score from the outside of the perimeter and the inside.
