CONCLUSION

An attempt has been made to analyze the brighter side of sports arena in our country as well as the areas which we need much attention. We have distributed the ideas under different heads for better understanding. An attempt has been made to make a comparative study of past history and present state in the sports field.We also has dealt details of our national game, hockey. The resources which are given to the sportsmen are also taken into consideration in this project. A sea change has to come in the attitude of the public leaving their enthusiasm for certain sports like cricket. Sports and games must be made a part of compulsory education among schools and colleges and much emphasis to be laid on sports and games. The govt. should give a wide publicity for the mass participation of people in various sports activities. Sports like archery, shooting to be given much importance because many people in rural areas are talented in such sports. Such talented sportsmen are to be identified, encouraged, motivated and supported to bring our vision of gold to reality.
