Oil Spills
Oil spills are the fastest growing pollution problem and it really affects marine animals and birds. The biggest oil spill in the United States was the Exxon Valdez's incident. It spilled over 10.8 million gallons which is around 11,000 square miles. When countries are at war, one country may decide to dump gallons of oil into the other country's oceans. Terrorists will do this because they are trying to get the country's attention, or they are trying to make a point to the country. Oil is a very crude chemical and must be used safely and less often {opinion}.
