Catching to many fish, the fish canít contain their population. The population of fish will become smaller and smaller over fishing. Finally from the overfishing the fish will be gone. All the birds wonít be able to eat fish if all the fish are gone and we wonít be able to eat fish either. Pew found that predatory fish populations, including shark, Tuna, and North Atlantic Cod, continue to dropping downward, with many species dropping 90% or more in the past 40-50 years. In 2004 of the nation's 267 major fish stocks roughly 20% are either already overfished, experiencing overfishing, or approaching an overfished condition.
