What Are Animal Rights?

Animal rights is the movement that intends to keep animals from needless cruelty and harmful conditions. It is a concept based on the principle that animals have a claim to live lives without mistreatment and instead live lives of relative freedom.

Why Are Animal Rights Important?

Many species of animals have disappeared from our planet. These are precious animals that won’t return. Animals support our ecosystem and are vital components of the food chain. Animals are important to our society because some animals provide food even as others are loving pets. Wild animals offer information when we study their habits and behavior. For these reasons, it is important that we provide animals the protection they deserve. Many nations such as the United States, Korea, Canada, and the United Kingdom make and enforce laws for animal protection.
