What
are some ways you could protect animals? You could do
something to stop animal abuse, and save animals that need your help to
continue their life. If you live in NJ like many of my friends, and
witness an
animal getting abused, you can call 800-582-5979 or go to NJSPCA’s
online form.
If you live in a different state, look to find if you could get a phone
number
or a web site that will help you contact ASPCA. They will ask questions
to
gather information to help discover the identity of the abuser. In this
way,
they could prevent further abuse. If you want to save animals, you
could try
adoption, write a letter to your local legislators, or you could surf
the
Internet to for more ideas. I know that you could change the world.
Please
don’t be an animal abuser because the consequences could be too severe! Did you know
that
abusing animals is against the law in the United States? If you see an
animal
getting abused by someone, call 911 or the closest animal shelter and
they will
proceed from that point. Assisting animals that seem hurt is not a good
idea
because you may cause more harm than good. It is important to describe
and note
down all the facts that you see in a case of animal abuse. The police
will find
this information useful. Another way you can help save abused animals
is to
share this information with your friends and family. Remember, you can
make a
difference in the lives of animals. Resources:
