Research

Over a time period of roughly 5 months, we conducted our research very thoroughly through various methods including interviews, surveys and internet and literature reviews.

We conducted many interviews with experts in the field of visual learning and experienced teachers about the multiple intelligences (visuals, auditory, kinesthetic etc.) in order to gain expert opinion.

We also conducted surveys with not only people from different schools, but even of different countries. Surveyees included people mainly from Singapore and Indonesia. We also did surveys but with smaller sample sizes in China, Malaysia, America, Canada, Czech Republic and Scotland. This was to get an international and more diverse view and through comparison of the results, we discovered that the results from different backgrounds and environments were all very similar.

Lastly, we conducted an internet and literature review by sourcing out online resources, magazines, books and journals from the school and national libraries that were reliable and relevant to our topic. From this, we gained a lot of new insight into visual learning and the various multiple intelligences.
