Our Goal for this Project - Visual LearningHome > Our GoalOur project has several goals, mainly centralising around a common goal - we aim to help integrate visual learning more into today's school curriculum. The original goal of our project was to research on effective learning to help to enhance learning in schools around the globe. However, we felt that the scope was too large and so we conducted a pre-project survey, after which we decided that we would focus our project on the benefits of visual learning, as well as how to implement it more often in classrooms. The goal of our website was to raise awareness about and promote visual learning so that it will be used more in schools. To accomplish this, we showcased the extensive research that we had done, and showcased a few videos that we had created to show examples of how visuals can help to enhance learning. Lastly, we provided action steps for various levels of the hierarchy in the education sector, ranging from students to directors in schools. Viewers could then view the action steps, follow them and in so doing, join us in our efforts to promote visual learning to enhance learning in classrooms. And thus, you are now looking at the product of all our dreams and visualisations for this ThinkQuest website. |
