Oral Steroids
Most Oral Steriods are taken in pill form. The user of pill form steroids try to stay away from them because they put more stress on the liver. Other steroids, like winstrol, and dianabol, have a short life in the body and need to be taken mulitple times during the day. Taking multiple doses will keep the drug active in the body for a longer period of time. The liquid form of anabolics can also be taken orally, not all of them, but there are a few. The steroids winstrol and dianabol, are 17 - alpha alkylated, meaning the steroid can pass through the liver without being destroyed. Because winstrol has a short life in the body, it has to be injected either everyday, or every other day. Because of this, many athletes will take the route of drinking the steroid instead of turning their body into a pin cushion.
Injectable Steroids
Most injectables only have to be taken once or twice a week. There are three major areas where steroids are injected, they are the safest areas of the body to inject. These areas are: the glute, the shoulder, and the thigh. These areas offer a large area where the needle can be injected safely.
