Noise Not Music to Our Ears Mast

Our Pledge

keertana   I pledge to perform my duties as an individual and improve the current noise status of the society. I will try to cut down on the car hours, and instead walk or bike to closer destinations. Car time generates more traffic, and makes the road noisy. If people begin to cut down on car time, the noise pollution exposure will decrease greatly, making the world a welcoming place. By Keertana.

akshith  I pledge to also try to convince my friends to cut down on their television time, and their music devices. Almost all of my friends have iPods, and listen to them often. Although listening to music is a relaxing event, you must be wise with the noise level. I pledge to also try to convince my friends to cut down on their television time, and their music devices. By Akshith.

satvika  I pledge to reduce my television viewing time and IPod time by 50%. I pledge to keep it down at home, talk softly, make my friends and neighbors aware of the growing noise problem. I will join and actively participate in the national campaign of NIDCD's - Healthy Hearing 2010 and help make our society a better place.By Satvika.

shelby  I feel it is crucial that all people need to take action towards ending this pollution of noise - though every persons' actions matter, one person alone cannot completely end this issue. Therefore, I pledge to request my friends and family to write a pledge that they will follow.By Shelby.
